1) Yes it is my problem when the rights of women are denied, when gays are discriminated, when children are sexually abused by priests, and when the religious fight wars over pure make believe. Unlike you I write against it because my moral conscience cannot cover it up.

2) Respect is not given, it is earned. Religion should not get the first and the lack of truth to its claims makes it impossible to actually work on the second. Remember that just because an opinion has the label “religion” attached to it does not mean it is impervious to analysis or criticism. Opinions can be faulty, false, and even dangerous. Belief in gods is the prime example.

3) Just like your god does not care about the 6 million kids that die yearly because of malnutrition he surely would not care one bit for ridicule. Face it, that which as no evidence of actually existing can’t be bothered by reality. Your god is just that, an opinion. And a poorly but dangerously formulated one at best. There is no reason to take it seriously other than to oppose it.

4) If god cannot defend himself (or even differentiate his person from the state unicorns, elves and fairies are, namely imaginary), why do you waste your time? (1 Kings 18:27-29)

5) It is just an added bonus that a lot of religious inanity out there screams to be ridiculed because it is so funny.
